Cheng was introduced to some unrealistic verdicts by his master which also represents No Mercy, and Mr. Han after training Dre, wanted to make his master understand that Kung Fu is all about peace and passion for making friends all around. In last part, the hard training from Mr. Han really paid him off because Dre was successful in winning that competition and Cheng and his friends started giving him honour and room in their hearts, the odds were all eliminated and Dre can live easily and happily in China with his mom.
