The film "A home too far" is directed by Chun Yen-ping. This movie about the story of the remnant armies of the Republic of China who has displaced and did not have a chance to go back to their homeland. In 1950, the People's Republic of China has taken control of the country. The majority of the original official and armies of the Rebuplic of China have retreated to Taiwan. However, there are some remnant armies in South-West couldn't cross the ocean to arrived in Taiwan. They fled the slaughters by the communists and entered the national boundaries of Myanmar. However, the government of Myanmar see them as enemy, wanted to exterminate them. They hold all the attacks from the Burmese army but the government of Myanmar sue them claimed them as invaders. Under this pressure, the Republic of China announced the oreder of retreat, but only accepted the officers to go to Taiwan. The member of this forgotten army continue to live in a place where they don't belong to.
